Dude, looks awesome on the Red Carpet! I wish I was there to see the movie...doh!

Posted by: Elliott | Jul 20, 2004 7:19:59 PM

looks like you are pasted over....

Hey Zach,
I've been reading this blog off and on but never posted, but I just really wanted to say congrats on the movie and all of your success. And as a side note, I honestly think Scrubs is one of the best shows on TV (had to throw that in there). I saw the trailer for Garden State several months ago in the theater and it teased me...and now I can see it in just a couple weeks. I feel like a little kid counting down the days until Christmas...

Much luck to you and have fun! As cheesy as it sounds, I think it's quite refreshing to have people like you in Hollywood. Keep doing what you love so we can keep enjoying it!

Posted by: Mary | Jul 20, 2004 7:45:38 PM

Biz, you're the man. Congrats, I can't wait to see it. -Snuggles

Posted by: Pete Banks | Jul 20, 2004 7:49:34 PM

kKkKk is so gullible. He is having a conversation with Zach. It is clear that this person has no friends and truly thinks Zach Braff is going to sit here and read e-mails from every num-nut who e-mails him. Wake up idiots! This is just a fun movie website... Nothing more.

Posted by: Anand V | Jul 20, 2004 8:12:34 PM

Aww. Quite an adorable pic~

Posted by: Tammy D | Jul 20, 2004 8:35:22 PM

I just wanted to congratulate you on your success. A friend of mine showed me the teaser trailer months ago, and ever since... well, like most others, I have been hooked. I cannot wait! to see the film. Oh, coming from an artist - I LOVE the allusion to Vuillard. Where did you stumble across him? And what are you reacting to that inspired you to incorporate the ideology? I know what art history has to say about him; I am just curious about what draws or influence people when dealing within the arts. Anyways: KUDOS, ZACH BRAFF!!!!

Boy Pete, you must think yourself to be a real sage of truth and wisdom, crusing around internet sites and telling people that they are wrong for doing the things that they do. Thank you, thank you, thank you for that much needed dose of cynicism.

Posted by: Antisthenes | Jul 20, 2004 9:30:04 PM

Zach,
I saw Garden State screening for BAFTA at the Writter's Guild Theater and I wanted to thank you for making such a beautiful and real film. Also, thanks for making us in the audience laugh for half an hour. Hearing your stories of working your way up from production assistant to spawning your own film was inspiring. I am currently a PA on a television show and your words showed me that I can climb the ladder if I keep at it. So again, thank you for one of the finest films I have had the privilege to experience.

Premieres in real time, absolutely kickass. For this one day, http://www.2.foxsearchlight.com/gardenstate/blog/index.html feels more like CNN.com than CNN.com itself does. It's got the coverage! of the big event!

You amaze me with this movie....profound serenity with a hint of despair...Please keep doing what you're doing...don't stop....

Thank you.

Just thought that I would say "Hi" to Zach. My friend Jessica and I met you in Chicago. All I can say is "Vive le Passage" and "Good Luck on the opening of your film - it looks great!"

Posted by: Sarah | Jul 21, 2004 11:29:48 AM

Hi Zach! (If you read this ^^)
I'm wishing you the best of luck with this movie. I've been rounding people up to see it when it comes to Chicago... every little bit helps, right? I'm sure it'll be a hit; people seem so excited about it!
I've had a little crush on you since seeing Scrubs (gosh, I sound like a stalker...) and I'm thrilled to see you making your first film.
Best of luck!

Hello Zach,

I have just read your journal and thought I would write to you. I live in the south of France and hope I can see the film here in Nice very soon.
Felicitation!

Bisous,
Kyung

Zach,
I'd like to start off by saying that I'm a huge fan of yours. That said, I'd like to thank you for putting together the best soundtrack to any film, ever. Two songs from The Shins...I love you for that. Oh, and for casting Natalie as Sam,genius. Anyways..The movie doesn't open in any theatres untill this Friday. I'm sure I'll love it though, because of all the reviews and clips from this site. Anyways, thanks for being awesome. I'll be looking forward to the next season of "Scrubs". Goodbye.
