thanks zach, i needed a smile tonight. i just discovered that i lost my purse and phone and i was stressing out because i also happen to be injured and can't just go walk or drive anywhere. anyway, i was going to fall apart when after sending some desperate email pleas, i decided on a whim to check your blog. phew, so much information from me that you didn't need to know, but i just wanted to say thank you for being there (and for the great tip on white balancing.) can't wait for scrubs. you should make accessories for the natalie doll (tiny headset, sidecar, etc.). take care--i'm going to go watch my email inbox and hope for rescue!

Wow, so nice to see such a long video of you. I can't to see The Last Kiss, filmed so close to my home. We were getting worried about Scrubs...what the f? We need our medical fix. I have a dog too, his name is Rocky, aka Rock Star. He is a 15 year old chihuahua, and his best trick is to pee on a diaper. He also gums at his food really well, as he has lost most of his teeth. I am knitting a sweater, he gets cold and shivers a lot.
Anyhow, can't wait to see the new season, and my birthday is Dec. 27, feel free to e-mail me and wish me a good day! Or at least do a shot for me at the bar that night.

Hey Zach,
Nice to hear from you.
I had the chance to meet you this summer while you were filming The Last Kiss in Montreal, and I've got to say that you are absolutely a great guy. I don't know if you remember "The Porch Crew" (a.k.a. the 2 girls who sat on the neighbouring porch and watched filming of you lying on a porch and being handed a glass of water all day) but I was one of them.
I also want to thank you for taking pictures wearing the "Up With Adam" t-shirt. That really meant a lot. Sadly, Adam passed away a few weeks ago, but I'm glad we were able to show him support during his fight.
Update again soon. The video blog was great.

Hey!!! Okay, your going to think I'm a dork, but I refer to you as my "friend" Zach, and that video post didn't help. It just seems like your a friend talking to me, like I've known you forever. Besides that freakiness... I WANT that Sam doll, it is awesome! Actually, I WANT my own action figure, that would be so cool! I can't wait till Scrubs comes back, I need my fix! Oh, and don't apologize for not posting, I'm just glad you do it at all :) Love ya and have a happy week!

p.s: That was soooo classic when you had to answer your phone. I laughed until I cried! Was that staged? HAHAHAH!!

hi zach!
oh how i missed you!
i haven't even watched the video post yet...i just got excited that there were only a few comments, so i thought i'd comment now...
i'm sure you get many requests for interviews about garden state, many adoring fans wanting to have their questions answered by the one and only. however, i have another request.
i'm in my fourth year at York University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, studying Film and Communications. i am writing my THESIS on garden state. more specifically, i am writing my thesis on the art direction in garden state. thus, i was wondering if there is anyway i can get in contact with anyone that worked in the art department of the film...it would be a big help.
even if you could pass my email along to someone...

Hey Zach!
That vid post was awesome! It definitely more than made up for you being gone for so long. And while I know we all miss you around here, knowing that you are busy just gives us something to look forward to, getting to see your latest projects when they come out. Oh! Nice Italian accent, by the way. :)
Something I thought you might get a kick out of - I am back in school, working on my Master's in Psych at a private school here in Dallas, and one of my professors is going to be doing a class next semester on Woody Allen films. (Do you know any film reviewers here in Dallas? If so, you might know the professor.) :)
Thanks again for the post. Take care!
~Marilyn
P.S. I just remembered - I saw The Broken Hearts Club on IFC the other day - great job! Your diversity and open-mindedness as an actor wins major cool points with me (as if you needed anymore!!). :)

If NBC let's Scrubs go after this season I may stop watching television. It's the only worthwile sitcom in my opinion.
The Apprentice is my guilty please too right now. The Donald can be so inappropriate (last week with Clay and what's-his-face)
Keep up the great work.

You know it's Thursday night and I'm channel flippin' and cursing under my breath wondering where the f*ck is Scrubs...and then a few hours later I stumble onto this and I get to see a nice scruffy Zach. That's a good substitute for Scrubs. I think I need to go find my Garden State DVD and watch it again. I love that movie so much but even more so I truly appreciate the writing of the story- thanks for remembering that intelligent people like good stories. :)

I think it is really cool that you have this blog. i admire the work you have done. **** Would you ever consider being a guest speaker at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts? This past week we had Cynthia Nixon. I just feel like we would have alot to absorb from you since you have been involved in all aspects from writing to directing and of course acting. Anyway, I just wanted to throw out the invitation, even though I know you are busy. Have an awesome day and keep up the work!~Andie

I'm so happy to hear about Scrubs, although suddenly January seems very far away. I just wanted to peak my head in to say how cool I think it is that you keep this up and write/speak to your fans. Thank you for taking the time to do it, it really sets you apart. Last Kiss and Fast Track sound great (how amazing is Jason Bateman?). Remember that we can't get enough of you, but don't work TOO hard. Thanks again!

I think the video kick ass. I can't wait for scrubs to come back on the air. I saw the other blog video on ign.com. I think those are really cool too, seeing things that happens back stage. Not to be insulting, but u look dead tire. Hope you get another day off to just sleep. Since ur not directing a film til next year, are you going to direct another episode? I think ur trademark is twisting with time. If i see that, I go "he did a zach braff"...no, thats just stilly. And i bet u have tons more suggesting for music, that would be great!!!

Long time no see. I just figured I'd comment since there weren't too many comments yet. And because I haven't gone to bed yet, despite having class tomorrow, as well as helping two friends with their film shoots.
But ah, isn't that the life of a film student?
Wish you all the best, and I can't wait until Scrubs is back on.

You are most forgiven for your absence. I notice your use of "Scrubs-y" as an adjective. I will now go and try to use it all the time. You're like my little word-of-the-day calenders.
Take care.

i think you're the best celebrity ever... and i'm not just saying that because i have a huge crush. ;) ...on you, that is - not just in general...cause that wouldn't really make any sense. um, yeah...
anyway, it's strange to feel connected to someone who has no real idea who you are - but it's special at the same time. it's special that you take the time to appreciate your countless fans in a very real and personal way. it's extraordinary. thank you.
i'm happy to hear the update on scrubs. i just went on NBC's site to see what was going on... but there's no real info there. it's good to know it's coming back.
i want you to know that i find you exceptionally inspiring.

Hey Zach,
I just finished watching Season 2 of Scrubs on DVD. Loved the extra features.. hope NBC (my employer as well) gets their act together and puts you guys back on the air earlier than January! I personally think My Name is Earl is WAY overrated. But that's neither here nor there..
Thanks for posting the video! Hope this becomes routine, you're an inspiration to all us young writers out here! Cheers.

H'okay... so, I just had to finally take a moment to let you know how much Garden State affected my life. I was an avid reader of your blog for about two months before I was even able to see the movie! The anticipation was killing me! I was in a full-time day therapy for depression when I went to see it with my roommate (who insisted on how funny it was and how much I would like it -- all true things), what I was not expecting was at the end of the movie, I just started crying uncontrollably. The movie affected me so strongly, I just couldn't stop myself. We actually had to take the back exit out of the theater! :) It really made me evaluate my depression and how it was affecting my life, and it made me realize that the therapy program I was in wasn't going to help me unless I used it for all it was worth, and from that day on I started talking... and as you can see now, I never shut up! :) haha...
So yeah, what can I say? THANK YOU!
I'm a huge fan of Scrubs and am greatly anticipating its return. It amazes me that a half-hour comedy can also contain so much depth when needed. Absolutely fantastic television. Not that we don't all need a little trash TV now and then too (my guilty pleasure is America's Next Top Model, or as my roommate and I call it, America's Skinniest Bitches).
Zach, your talent continues to amaze and inspire me. Take care!

And I'm so glad SCRUBS is to be continued. It'll probably take them forever to air them over here in Germany but anyway...
Oh, and the other day I saw a guy with a great shirt for High-Five-Todd: VAGINAHOLIC!
Just in case you're running out of ideas.
Oh, and by the way: I absolutely LOVE the extras on the dvds! Keep them coming!

Hi Zach,
The video is not working on my pc...how sad!:-(
It's about damn time that you updated, though...I'm glad you haven't abandoned us.
You know, I STILL have not seen 'Garden State' yet! How horrible is that? Chicken Little just came out in theatres here and I cannot wait to watch it!
We are currently watching the 4th Season of SCRUBS here in South Africa and my sister and I have recorded each any every episode since the first season...we love it stax! We go into depression when it is off air and we literally count the days until the new season starts!
Keep up the awesome work!

Posted by: Gabby | Nov 11, 2005 4:17:46 AM
HAAAAYY, I didn't see that there yesterday...
There you are! And you are lovely. Man, when you say you're going to do something you definitly follow through don't you? Ohhh, so, so, sweet. So I pretty much gotta download this quicktime thing on my PC at work. I mean it's a lot faster than the one at home. That could take eons.
I don't have that kind of time on my hands. Again...loving that my job allows for Mr. Braff time.
I started to watch "The Last Kiss" the other day. Even with the subtitles the energy was just pulsating. I'm trying to picture who plays what character, who's Jacinda? Pregnant Lead? Are You her husband? The schoolgirl in that is so amazing.....and she knows it. That's some power for ya right there. I didn't follow through w/ the whole movie because I kind of, sort of, ok...I fell asleep but that doesn't matter. I'll catch it again just like I did "Maria Full of Grace".
Excellent movie---the possibilities though. "Maria in America" uh, uh? What cha think. Yeah I know. I was joking...but I can't help but wonder what that character went on to accomplish having stayed in America. Will she be deported? Will She marry a rich man...Will she learn english?...she's having a bit of trouble getting those points of hers across. No worries. Latinos are the fastest growing peoples. Everything will be in Spanish and we will all have to learn. I think it's all a good thing. How ever I can connect, or at least try to understand where a person is coming from is fine by me.
SO very excited to see that you are back and I wouldn't be so presumptuous to think you get to read all these blogs with everything you got going on..but if I lie to myself, every once in a while and pretend---well my dear Mr. Braff, that will be enough to keep me going.

at last, i have a t.v. with cable in this country, and was able to catch some of 'scrubs' last night...ahhh. much better. natalie p. attended my university for a semester last year, and i made an ass of myself complimenting her on such a well made film and harassing her about whether or not you were going to make another. the look in her eyes screamed, 'please, shut up and let me catch up with my friends...' but before hurrying off she was polite enough to assure me that at least you'd be continuing with 'scrubs' for a while which in itself satifies, my fellow tribe member. anyway, thanks for making me laugh. feels like a piece of home when i can watch it here. peace in the middle east...

Hey Zach
Good to have you back. I tried to click on the video post but it didnt work coz my computer is infected with spy ware. is there anyway i can get a transcript. I was so looking forward to hearing from you
Posted by: kate | Nov 11, 2005 5:40:26 AM
We won free passes to the movie - my kiddo and I. We decided to pay to go - that way the whole family could go and I didn't have to chop the kids in half to fit them in on a free ticket. We've now seen it 2 times and it gets better each times. My daughter recognized you from Scrubs immediately (umm we tend to watch Scrubs quite a bit when it's on). She loved that you were Chicken Little, as her nickname is Chicken. So all she wants for Christmas is Chicken Little toys.
If my money has to go to Disney, at least it is for a freaking hilarious movie you were a part of.
This video post rocked btw. And dude - Randall is going to be the next wingman for Trump. Everyone can hate all they want.
Posted by: Mandy | Nov 11, 2005 5:42:18 AM
Awesome vid post! It was a treat to find you had updated.
Dont fret about Scrubs being pushed back. I'm seeing more and more of that with really good shows. 24, and Sopranos pop to mind. Fans will keep those episodes coming, and when they stop, you'll know it's time to stop too. :) It's my favorite show.
Looking forward to your upcoming flicks! Keep making good films!
Posted by: Brad | Nov 11, 2005 5:52:33 AM
Hey sweetie, glad to hear from you! I'm looking forward to checking out your films later next year. I figured that NBC was messing with the lineup to get some attention to their newer comedies, though of course that stinks for the Scrubs fans out there. I really hate when they mess with the lineup.
Go enjoy your day off. Oh, and my son LOVES Chicken Little - he drives me batty about it. That's a good thing, corner that kid market, Zach! LOL Love ya, hon!

Zach,
Nice video post, I enjoyed the random phone call in the middle =) Why do you have Natalie's doll? Did she not want it? I can't imagine that since it's a one-of-a-kind deal. I'm excited to hear you guys are still making "Scrubs," all my friends from home and I love that show. As for "Chicken Little," my newspaper got preview tickets for it and my writer loved it! Here's her article: http://www.tcpulse.com/2005/11/04/ac/chickenlittle/. This is what she wrote about you: "Goofy Braff as the voice of Chicken Little makes you root for the loser, bringing a child-like quality to the part that makes you forget that there is actually a grown man bringing the character to life." Good job! =) I also forced the guys who live across the hall from me to watch the E special on the movie since they were interviewing you and I don't have a TV, haha. Anyway, hope to hear from you again soon!

Zach Braff! You're the best!!! Looking forward to the new movie! Congrats on the success of "Chicken Little"!

Thanks for keeping us posted and it's really great to hear from you! I'm so relieved that Scrubs is still coming back - would it be so hard for NBC to just let their Scrubs followers know that it's still returning??? I guess that's why no one has asked me to direct a network TV station.
Have a great weekend!
Posted by: Amber | Nov 11, 2005 6:10:07 AM
By the way, I mean tot say, I COMPLETELY agree on Randall taking the entire "Apprentice." He's kind of the man...no doubt!
Ok, back to your regularly scheduled Zach Braff-y ness!

I thought those were revolving chrismakkah lights at first. couple things you'd like:
1. thumbsucker, if it's still in theatres -- it's no garden state, but parts were funny
2. 'real meaning of life' -- funny book
3. sufjan stevens, 'illinoise' -- great album
peace!

Hey Zach,
Haha, I couldn't wait to watch it so every minute the video would stop and i'd be left with a really funny expression, like the sort of photos u wish u could tear up.
Thanks for the lowdown on Scrubs, I have many friends who will be eager to know whats going on.
Good luck with everything that is going on with u, its great to hear about it first hand and feel almost like your a part of it.
cheers,
P.s. When u were talking about the pool room it reminded me of an Aussie film called 'The Castle' if you haven't seen it you should its hilarious. It is one of my all time favourites.

um. I don't think Randal has exhibited much leadership, my friend. I think it will be Rebecca. Of course, if Trump keeps firing people 2 [or 4] at a time, there will be no one left and we'll have to 'till next year for the next YUGE! apprentice winner. i kind of want to break Clay in half. that's all.

Hey Zach! I`m from Croatia and I absolutely adore Scrubs. I just wanted you to know the show is very popular in this country, it`s airing on TWO channels, and trust me, you have a lot of Croatian fans, ;) You are a great actor and I was very pleasantly surprised to see you are also quite talented as a writer and a director. Will definitely catch "Chicken Little", ;)

Zach,
Could you BE any cuter? You made my day. :-) Thanks for posting. Your post was awesome and adorable. You should come up to Penn State to speak or something. That'd be really cool. Glad to see all is well!
(I act like we're best friends :-P)

i just read an old blog that suggested writing you a poem. so im definitely going to do that. lol, we should battle.
Over here in Italy,
your post made me so happy.
i dont have to worry
about scrubs not in a hurry
cuz all that we get here
are reruns each day of the year.
and i thank my lucky stars for that,
its a chance for me to go back
to quality humour for a half an hour
im gonna stop before this gets sour.
sorry that was pretty bad.
anyways, rock on.
i also like how you said you were working on a video blog like a month before you posted one.
love, Carrie.

Ok, seriously, you are the most amazingly down-to-earth person EVER.
I absolutly loved this video post because you're so real, and because you took the time out of your crazzyyy busy schedule just to say hey to us silly fans. That is really awesome.
Oh, and I'm going to see Chicken Little tomorrow night ;)
I gotta get ready for class now, so I'll stop rambling.
bye love<3

Hey Zach,
I just wanted to tell you how much I loved Garden State. I've rented it a couple of times and have yet to buy it. The first time I watched it, after it ended I immediately rewound it (yes it was on VCR) to the bathtub scene and watched the end over again... and cryed just as hard. When I rented it, I actually didn't realize that it was your baby... I was so impressed and am now a Braff fan. I will ad Scrubs to my short list in January.
Peace and Love,
Nicole

Hey very cool. Glad you're still alive and all. I was wondering about scrubs. If NBC had given you guys the shaft I was ready to go all Hulk Smash! on someone. :) Scrubs is one of the three sitcoms I watch anymore (along with Arrested Development and My Name is Earl). Good luck in the upcoming projects!
Posted by: Jason | Nov 11, 2005 7:17:44 AM
dear zach,
hoorah for video posts! very good hair by the way. have not seen chicken little yet; to be honest i don't know if i will be able to while it is in theatres. my schedule is crazy and i'm only allotting myself certain free moments and the next big one coming up is going to see RENT in theatres. not to trump chicken little, but i have loved RENT since its conception in 1996 and am more than just a little excited that it has been made in to a movie...seeing it at the Nederlander was starting to get very expensive.
business for me is booming. i have an internet start-up that has taken off. i have a full time professorship and i have bought a house and a new car (prius, silver, awesome gas mileage). not bad for a somewhat-spacey very pastey 25 year old. glad to hear you're equally busy, i'm looking forward to seeing what else you'll be doing in the future.
i'm really digging the scruffiness on the post...it looks like you're half asleep still, or perhaps a little drunk from the night before? either way...delicious.
don't know what's up with my e.e. cummings post today but whatever. it might have to do with my just rolling out of bed as well. i'm not delicious scruffy but more stinky rank, though i'm very active in the morning. for instance, i just recreated the scene from Flashdance to Take On Me by a-ha in the living room while your video post was downloading. probably not a truely original moment, but a note-worthy one nonetheless.
annnyhoooo, just wanted to say hi. glad things are well, hope to see you again soon. take care and go back to bed.

Thanks for another great video post. I've been reading this blog for a long time but this is my first time commenting.
Garden State changed my life. I think it's amazing that you were able to create something that could affect so many people so much, and I hope I'm able to do so one day, whether it's through writing or music or whatever. I think I'm really blessed to have discovered your work, and to be able to read this blog and feel like maybe I can actually do something big with my life.
No matter how busy things get, just keep on being who you are- you're so, so awesome. I can't imagine anyone changing their mind about you- and you make a killer first impression.
Last thing- don't be so apologetic! You said it yourself, you work like crazy- and as you can see, you have a considerable fanbase that's behind you all the way! Good luck in all your projects, and you can count on my continued support.

Hey Zach! thanks for the post. i havent lost faith in ya. every project you touch seems to turn to gold, so good luck with everything. im into photography, and i always use white balance to make things look pastier...kinda creepy, i know. tell us what music youre listening to lately! im always interested to know what you have to reccomend. thanks for the post, keep working, and dont forget, lifes a garden, dig it.

Hey Zach, I'm glad to hear it's going well for you and that you're having a blast making Scrubs Season 5. And you can be sure that we all wish that NBC would treat Scrubs better, because it is without doubt one of the best shows ever created.
Other than that I just want to congratulate you on the success with Chicken Little and scrubs of course. And wish you the best of luck with your two upcoming movies. I'm defiantly going to check out Fast Track, It sounds like a really good movie :)
Peace and love right back at you.

Zach! You are a brilliant actor/director! Glad to know Scrubs is going to be back soon. The Natalie/Sam doll was precious and sorry you've been so busy, but the video post was a nice touch!
Peace and Love back to ya!

What a nice thing to see first thing in the manana! Your "white balance on blue" mug.
Glad to hear you have been busy. Work is good. But we missed you, for the record.
Really glad to hear that you all are making SCRUBS. I've missed my weekly nuttiness.
Thank YOU for keeping us all up to date. You are still my favorite. ;) <3
P.S. The Sam Doll? Fabulous!

It's so nice to see you again.
I'm on the television station for my school and recently we did an interview. And no one wanted to AWB and it made me mad. The two women who were doing the interview were super uber pale, so now I know to AWB with blue now. And I'll tell them that Zach Braff told me to.
Also, I feel your busyness pain. I'm a busy girl too. That little thing called college. Ugh. And working on my senior comprensive. Too bad I think your busyness might be more fun than mine. I wish this was fun.

Posted by: Kate | Nov 11, 2005 8:06:57 AM
Awesome. I was hoping you had updated and you did. I'm so excited for scrubs to come back. And I'm excited for your movies because they sound hilarious just by mentioning the cast.
Posted by: Katie | Nov 11, 2005 8:09:06 AM
So I'm way too late for this comment to actually be read by you, but that's just as well since I have nothing remotely humorous to say this time. I just love you oh so much and I am glad you gave us this update. Keep up all the great work, Mr. Braff!
Posted by: Sandi | Nov 11, 2005 8:21:54 AM
And he returns!! I was just thinking yesterday...Zach gave up on it, he just isn't doing it anymore and I should not check anymore but at last I came today and there you were! It made me very excited so thank you! Keep the hard work up and I CAN'T WAIT FOR SCRUBS! Did you get the idea that I was serious about that last remark with the whole capital letters thing? Hope all is well in the smog filled LA. Keep your nose to the grindstone as my g-ma puts it.
Posted by: Mary | Nov 11, 2005 8:22:56 AM
Zachy poo that was completely worth the wait! Even though you looked a bit exhausted (which is totally understandable) you were adorable and I feel very well informed, merci beaucoup!

p.s. can't wait for new Scrubs. I’m brimming with anticipation…

YOU POSTED! I've missed you, Zach! I was kinda wondering if you forgot us little people :) Just kidding. Anyway, I am so mad that Scrubs was postponed, none of the new comedies are anywhere near as funny as Scrubs, personally I think NBC is suicidal. Anyway, I love you and everything you do, thanks for giving the fans an outlet for communication, I can only hope that you actually read my posts!

Zachary,
I am sooooooo tired, sent the night in the emergency room with my mother, pneumonia.
Aging parents, is there anything that reminds you more of your own mortality or anything scarier.
Thanks for the video post, good to hear from you. But you look a little ragged, burning the candle at both ends and the middle.
I am weighing my options about Chicken Little, animation is not my cup of tea, but for you I might even brave the hordes of small children and see it. It is getting such great reviews.
No music, book, movie, or poem recommendations, I am so exhausted I can barely stay awake and I am at work, no less! I am truly a glutton for punishment.
Well, I have to go, work and mother are calling, post more often at least once a month, it brightens my day, makes me laugh and always makes me feel less old, even though I am doing it quite gracefully.
Peach and much love,
Voncile

Wow man, you are the awesomest guy ever to take the time to make that entire post on your ONLY DAY OFF just for us!! So I thank you dearly from the bottom of my heart (heh, I almost wrote "heart of my bottom" -- now that'd be weird). I hope you enjoyed the rest of your day and that you're taking care of yourself. And by that I mean you eventually showered and got a decent amount of sleep. Cuz that's the REAL good stuff in life, man! Lovin' the Twinkly Lights Apparatus, hope you get your pool room soon so it can fulfill its interior decorating destiny. Other than that, peace out 'til your next entry! :) Luv yoouuu!!

Hey Zach,
Thanks for letting everyone know what's going on in your busy life. I am glad to hear that Scrubs is still going strong with 22 episods. I've noticed in the past when TV shows start to get big they don't film as much. Keep it up. I can't get enough. I am so excited about season 2 coming out this Tuesday. When is season 3 and 4 coming out? Waiting months between releases is killing me!
Well, anywho, hope to hear from you again soon.
Bye,
Scooter Pie :-)

I LOVE YOU ZACHARY BRAFFARY!! You were great on Ellen. I was so happy to see your video post because I am feeling sick of the horrible news about Arrested Development ( I am still in denial). I need all the cheering up I can get. I hope i dont scare you but I have recently found out that I indirectly know you. This is a stretch here but someone on my dorm floor lives in Maplewood, Nj and her brother went to the Columbia High about the same time you did. I am sorry if i have creeped you out. I just had to say that. I am not thinking to coherently right now because of the horrible events of t he morning (Arrested Development).
Posted by: Mary | Nov 11, 2005 8:48:49 AM
I must say, I am the pastiest person I know... transparent really (ew, weird)... so I'll have to remember that.
And really, thank YOU for posting that. It completely made my morning. You could set up a camera of you just reading, or perhaps washing dishes or something, and I'd watch. You've made me laugh, cry, and have introduced my ears to music that never stops playing on my iPod. So again, thanks.
And although I don't usually say this to someone I really don't know (but THNK I know), I'm pretty sure I love you and everything you do work.
And to make a long story short ("too late"... 'Clue' anyone?) I must go before I'm late for class. Thanks again and I hope you enjoyed your coveted day off.
Posted by: Amy | Nov 11, 2005 8:56:05 AM
I've never left you a comment before, but I just wanted to be cliche and tell you how much my friends and I love you. I've introduced so many people to the wonder that is Scrubs since the DVD set of season 1 came out and they all adore it. I love how you can mix drama and humor together so naturally in any project you take on (especially GS - it hit us Jersey 20-somethings hard, we can't get enough). If you're ever around Trenton, come to our college (TCNJ) sometime because hey, it's the Garden State and we all love you!

And I made a ton of errors on my last post, which really bothers me as a journalism major. And I felt the need to apologize for it. Yeah, I'm a bit obsessive compulsive.
Posted by: Amy | Nov 11, 2005 8:59:11 AM
Awesome! This video-blog compensated for all the long breaks of your blog. It's really cool and funny. And good news in it, too. Great to hear that scrubs is coming back!
Chicken Little isn't yet in the movies over here in germany, but I'll definetly watch it.
Keep on going, Zach!

Love the video post Zach!
I can't wait for Scrubs to come back. I'll be buying the second season when it comes out.
I took my nieces and nephew to "Chicken Little" on the weekend, it was great!
Glad to see you are doing well, don't work too hard.

My dear Zach,
I am so gald to see that you are back, I am sad beacuse I can't download the video my computer is low budget sorry. If someone can tell me what he is saying I would really appreciate it alot. Zach I promise to post new jokes soon.
Love your work,

I can't believe I have been commenting on this for over a year. It does NOT feel like that long.
That 'white balance on blue' thing is especially helpful because I have been sitting at home being sick and reading 'Wicked', looking generally disgusting.
I have yet to see Chicken Little, but I love random blinking shit, so that thing you've got is pretty awesome.
Thanks for the video post, I loved it! You don't have to apologize for not posting, we know you're busy (and that you'd never forget about us, right?) ;) I neglect to update my own blog sometimes, too, and all I've got as an excuse is that I'm applying to universities and avoiding writing a history paper.
I watched Garden State for the first time in months a few weeks ago, and I think it was even more amazing than before, just because of the frame of mind I was in.
So, thanks for that.
-Stephanie
P.S. Do you watch Futurama? You should, I have a feeling you'd like it. I was Leela for Halloween and very few people recognized me.

i will remember the white balance on blue trick you taught us. that's pretty clever! looking forward to scrubs being around again!!

It's funny that you made a Sam doll. A friend of mine had a birthday a few years ago, and he had mentioned that he wanted an action figure of himself. I took one of my Ken dolls, dressed him in some "average Joe" clothes, and then I taped a photo of my friend's face on the head of Ken. I designed a box and made up some cool "Action Joe" sayings (his name is Joe) that this action figure would say- such as, "Radical, dude!" and "Hey! Wah happened?" Anyway, good to hear you're working hard. It has to feel great to be busy doing all the things you love doing. Peace.

The video post totally made up for any abscence. White balance on blue. *grins* I love that.
